Who we are

This website is operated by 247 Taxis BFD Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14209156), registered office 63 Spencer Road, Bradford, BD7 2HD. We are a licensed private hire operator with the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council. For data protection purposes we are the data controller for information collected through this site.

What we collect

Enquiry form details. If you fill in the business account form we collect the company name, your name, your phone number and, if you give them, your email address and the notes you write in the message box. The form is delivered to us by Web3Forms, which holds a copy of the submission for 30 days.
Advertising click identifiers. If you reach this site from a Google advert, your browser is given a small file (a cookie) holding the click reference Google supplies — gclid, gbraid or wbraid. It lasts 90 days.
Measurement data. Google's advertising tag records that a page was viewed and whether a call button was tapped. This tells us which adverts produce enquiries.
Technical data. Standard information your browser sends to any website, such as IP address, browser type and the page you came from, handled by our hosting provider.

We do not ask for payment card details on this website. Fares are paid to the driver or through the booking app.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to set up and run your account. Our lawful basis is that this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and afterwards to perform it.
To measure whether our advertising works, so we do not waste money on adverts that produce nothing. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — specifically, running the business efficiently.
To keep the site working and secure. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.

Cookies

We do not use cookies to build a profile of you or to sell anything to anyone else. The cookies set here are the Google advertising click reference described above and any cookies Google's own tag sets to measure conversions. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.

Who we share it with

We share data with Google (advertising measurement), with our website hosting provider, and — for business account enquiries only — with Web3Forms, the service that delivers the enquiry form to our inbox. All of them process the data on our behalf and under our instructions. If you become an account customer, your journey details will also be handled by our booking and dispatch system so we can allocate and invoice the work. We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to anyone else except where the law requires it, for example a request from the council's licensing team or the police.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not turn into an account are deleted within twelve months. Records for live accounts are kept for as long as the account is open and then for six years afterwards, which is the period we need them for tax and accounting purposes. Advertising cookies expire on their own after 90 days.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or object to us using it for our legitimate interests. You can also ask us to send it to another provider. There is no charge, and we will answer within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top.
